Your Help Needed
At Tapovan, modern medicine, vocational training, and rehabilitation allow once stigmatized leprosy
patients to live full and productive lives. But the victim of the disease needs your help-to get well and
to learn useful trades so
they can help themselves. The very old and young at Tapovan need your help, too,
they have no one of their own.
You can help in so many ways:
- Considering a leprosy patient as one of your brethren, you can contribute partly towards his or her
boarding expanses. - Contribute towards the treatment of a destitute handicapped person.
- Contribute towards the education of leprosy-stricken child.
- Contribute towards the maintenance of a destitute old man.
- Contribute towards the treatment of leprosy patient on your behalf.
- Contribute your mite towards children welfare fund.
- Contribute towards leprosy relief
- Dwelling on the leprosy question, involve your friends in the spread of health education in your area
and seek our cooperation. - Disseminate information on leprosy through dance, drama, literature, music, etc.
- By regular visit to meet the patients, maintain a sympathetic liaison with them
through the circle of your friends. - Donate fund to Tapovan and get rebate from income tax.
- Contribute to the education of leprosy stricken children.
- Assist in the work of rehabilitation,marriage and employment of leprosy patients.
- Provide facilities of education ,treatment and cure to leprosy patients.
- Participate in annual donators scheme of the institution by donating specific fund.
- Accept percentage by donating Rs.3000/- for the annul expenses which are more than
the sanctioned grants for orphan, blind and handicapped children. - Take sponsorship of trips camps , gathering of the children in Tapovan and help them in their personality development.
